Usually the 2 hours really kind of drags by and when you've reached the 30 minute mark, you're praying it would be over already. This finale was so good in parts that the 2 hours just freakin flew right by. I'm going to just post links to the video highlights of my favorite parts below. Oh and iggy, hun, you want a beach towel handy for one of these vids. Fair warning.
A Charity release This one is a must buy via ITunes. All the money from the sale of this song will be going to ABC squared to find a cure for cancer. Definitely a good cause.
Nick Mitchell wins the Outstanding Male in the Golden Idol Awards I am so damn glad they brought him back for one more performance. The look on Ryan's face....priceless. There's a petition going around to get him taken on the summer tour as the host of the show. Heh. He goes and he'll steal the damn shows.

Killer duet The only thing that would have made this nicer is if Bowie was there too. Sorry about the video. Once a better one comes along in YouTube, I'll fix the link. No need to win, he's already a star. To be able to duet like THAT with an iconic band AND HOLD YOUR OWN....that's the way you do it baby!
another Killer duet If that last duet wasnt enough of a consolation prize, then this sure as hell was! Singing infront of yet another iconic group with the guy you roomed with and competed against. Awesome.
the win The look on Kris's face was friggin priceless. Then to have him go on to say that his competition deserved it (the win) and to give props to every other competitor! Love it.
